COURSE SUMMARY
This two year program is intended to provide participants with the deepest understanding of the subtleties and nuances of Classical Homeopathic case taking techniques, methodology, and philosophy. Using Hahnemann's Organon of Medicine as the essential foundation for the course structure, and borrowing from several time honored traditions in other holistic medicines, we will thoroughly examine the anatomy and the process of the essential nature of disease and the laws that govern the return to health. Through a unique clinical component we will carefully investigate those lawful guidelines resulting in the restoration to health on all four levels of the human experience, physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually in theory, and in actual practice with our class patients.
Additionally, a secondary and equally important thrust of the program is intended to elevate the conscious awareness of each participant. This "objective awareness" component is essential in order that one may deeply comprehend the lawfulness of healing as it relates to classical homeopathy, understand more objectively the essence of the case, and thereby prescribe and manage the case most efficiently and with the greatest level of competence and confidence.
The hands-on clinical component of this two year seminar is centered around working with live cases and will be conducted in real time. That is, patients will come in for their initial two hour consultations and every six weeks thereafter return for their follow-ups as exists in actual homeopathic practice. Therefore, the course scheduling has been based on this established protocol and meets at these six week intervals throughout the year. During this two year intensive course, students will actively participate in every aspect of case analysis, repertory, materia medica investigations and case management. Students who wish for the opportunity to actually conduct the follow-up interviews with these patients will be permitted to do so in the second year.
Student treatment teams will be established and assigned at least one actual case to follow, and intimately engage in, during the two years; and, with supervision, the treatment teams are responsible for attending to the needs of the patient as they arise during their homeopathic treatment, as well as assessing their progress throughout the two year program. This hands-on aspect of the class will afford the most thorough comprehension of all essential aspects of actual homeopathic treatment. While other programs offer an in-depth theoretical approach to case taking and management, there is no genuine substitute for experiencing and participating with live on-going cases. This milieu alone allows students to consolidate all of their technical, theoretical and philosophical knowledge and employ it in a pragmatic and authentic application. Consequently, the understanding of the power of homeopathic healing is visceral and becomes the basis of what Hahnemann refers to as "pure experience", which is an absolute essential requirement in order to become a "true practitioner" of the medical healing arts.
Homework assignments will be given at the end of each session and reviewed at the beginning of the following lecture. While these exercises are not mandatory, they are not merely academic in nature but are intentionally designed to hone skills and actively broaden ones' awareness and healing capabilities between lectures. The serious student who wishes to eventually practice, whether informally or professionally, will profit greatly from their participation in these assignments.

Refund Policy: Tuition must be paid in full by the beginning of the first class unless other considerations have been prearranged between the student and H.V.S.C.H. Only those having paid in full will be eligible for a refund. In such instances a 75% refund will be returned after the first class, and a 50% refund returned after the second class. By the beginning of the third class there are no other refunds available.
Venue: All classes will be held at 321 McKinstry Rd. Gardiner, N.Y. 12525. Classes will begin at 9:30 AM promptly. Morning classes begin with special meditative exercises. If you are late, please remain outside until exercises are concluded.
Because of the six-week intervals between classes during the two-year program, classes will be conducted until 6:00 PM, and the last class of each year will meet for three days. The additional time spent will constitute sufficient hours for participants to receive a diploma equivalent for 300 hours. Students who consistently hand in homework assignments will receive an additional 100 hours of credit on their diplomas.
Lunch and Breaks: Due to the intensity of the material covered in the lectures, lunch breaks will be confined to 1hour and 15 minutes. Breaks during class will be brief, but sufficiently long enough for participants to avail themselves of the complimentary drinks and snacks provided by the school.
Lodging: There are numerous bed and breakfasts in the area as well as inexpensive motels. Anyone wishing for a list of these facilities can obtain them by contacting the office at (845) 255-6141, any Monday, Wednesday or Friday from 9:30 AM until 4:00 PM.
Foul Weather Days: Homeopaths are historically known for their perseverance and hardiness, and in keeping with this time-honored tradition classes will be held except in the most extreme circumstances. If such conditions prevail however, make-up days will be rescheduled at the determination of the school.
Class Patients: All class patients will be treated free of charge and supplied remedies also at no cost. However, they must be willing to be video taped for the potential use within the very selective homeopathic community, and for our archives. If you are aware of someone who would like to be treated as a class patient, equivalent to more than a two thousand dollar savings, please contact the office.

with the office on Monday, Wednesday or Fridays, 9:30am - 4:00pm
EST. Personal calls (845) 255-6141 are preferred over emails.
